FSM Contributing Editor Adrian Morgan takes us through a fascinating tale of the Islamic slave trade of blacks and Christians throughout history. It was only President Thomas Jefferson’s outright refusal to pay ransoms, an age-old practice, for our citizens-made-slaves that led to war and the capitulation of Algiers followed by Tunis, Tripoli and Morocco announcing that they too had officially abandoned slavery. Liberals in Congress should know this instructive history; perhaps they might learn something from it. Proponents of Islamic slavery, which dates back to the time of Mohammed, have no intentions of going away quietly. Read the entire article
